About the Artwork

Our Lady of Grace is a title of Mary that dates from at least the Middle Ages. Nowadays it is most common associated with the Marian apparition to St. Catherine Laboure in 1830, in her convent in Paris, at which Our Lady gave her the design and instructions for the Miraculous Medal. It depicts Our Lady standing on the globe, with arms outstretched, rays of light falling to the earth from the rings on her fingers.

In my design, I’ve added side panels with a pattern taken from the reliefs on the doors of Duomo di Milano.

The original artwork was painted with Maya Gold metallic paint, watercolor, and colored pencil on watercolor paper. Size A2, 2019.

Fine art giclée print from original watercolor painting, printed on acid-free 300 gsm archival watercolor paper. Mat and frame not included.

I have rigorously tested the colors of the prints to make sure they resemble the original artwork as closely as possible; however, please be aware that all computer monitors display colors slightly differently, so the colors in your print may appear different in real life than they do on screen.

Printed to order and shipped directly to you from our printer in PA. Watermark will not appear on your print.
